Welcome to ISIPP UK
Welcome to the UK destination track of ISIPP.
This training is designed for students travelling to the United Kingdom for study. It will help you understand what the UK expects from you as an international student and what you should expect from life and study in the UK.
By the end of this training, you should understand:
- your student visa responsibilities
- your legal work limits
- the real cost of living in the UK
- what UK universities expect academically
- how to access medical help and register with a GP
- how to stay safe and avoid scams
- how to behave respectfully in a different social and cultural environment
- how to think about post-study planning lawfully
Many UK Student visa holders can work up to 20 hours a week during term time, and eligible graduates can move into the Graduate visa route, which currently allows 2 years if the application is made on or before 31 December 2026, 18 months if made on or after 1 January 2027, and 3 years for doctoral graduates.
