Welcome to ISIPP Australia
Welcome to Australia destination track of ISIPP.
This training is designed for students travelling to Australia for study. It will help you understand what Australia expects from you as an international student and what you should expect from life and study in the Australia.
By the end of this training, you should understand:
- your student visa responsibilities
- your legal work limits
- the real cost of living in Australia
- what Australian universities expect academically
- how to access medical help and understand your health cover
- how to stay safe and avoid scams
- how to behave respectfully in a different social and cultural environment
- how to think about post-study planning lawfully
Student visa holders in Australia can generally work up to 48 hours a fortnight while their course is in session, and eligible graduates may later move into the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485).
