We understand all too well the heartbreak of young Nigerians who have been misled—scammed out of hard-earned fees by impostors claiming to be agents or sent off with big promises that never materialized. We also know that many genuine agents struggle to keep pace with ever-evolving immigration rules, and that students often lack the information and support they need to navigate complex academic and career pathways.
SRAAA was founded to address these very challenges. We work tirelessly to:

- Provide up-to-date training on UK, EU, US, Canada, Australia and other key study-destination visa requirements, ensuring agents and students alike have the knowledge to make informed decisions.

Who we are
We aim to redefine global educational opportunities by fostering trust and collaboration.
The Student Recruitment Advisors Agents Association (SRAAA) is Nigeria’s leading membership association for licensed student recruitment advisors and agents, established to promote quality, transparency, and professionalism in the international student recruitment sector.
SRAAA is a non-profit, self-regulating body that represents the interests of Nigerian-based student recruitment agents and the students they serve. It provides a national platform for training, certification, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. In collaboration with educational institutions, embassies, and regulatory authorities, SRAAA is working to professionalise student recruitment practices in Nigeria and uphold global best practice.
SRAAA aims to be the global benchmark for ethical Nigerian student recruitment—empowering agents and students through transparent, professional, and accountable practices that build lasting trust and unlock world-class educational opportunities.
What we do
At SRAAA, we:
- Develop and promote ethical standards and guidelines for student recruitment in Nigeria.
- Offer certification programmes and continuous professional development (CPD) for agents.
- Facilitate training workshops and seminars on international education systems, visa rules, and compliance.
- Advocate for student welfare and protection through the Student Protection and Support Abroad (SPSA) initiative, which is an umbrella body over ISPO (International student Protection Office).
- Provide a national directory of certified agents and serve as a bridge between Nigerian recruitment advisors and international institutions.
- Partner with regulatory bodies like the Federal Ministry of Education, embassies, and foreign education providers to support safe and ethical mobility of Nigerian students.
