Step 2: Review

- Background checks on directors
Successful candidates progress to training; others receive feedback and re-apply.
Step 3: Training
Agents undertake an online course via the SRAAA LMS covering:
- Introduction to Global Education Systems
- Visa & Immigration Compliance
- Ethical Recruitment Practices
- Nigerian Student Protection & Support Abroad (SPSA)
- NDPR Data Privacy Protocols
Completion requires a 75% pass in the total assessment.
Step 4: Site Visit
A SRAAA field officer conducts a physical or virtual inspection:
- Office infrastructure and signage
- Documentation processes
- Staff interviews
- Observation of advisory sessions
Agents must address any gaps within 10 working days.
Step 5: Certification
The SRAAA Certification Commission reviews the final application and site report. Upon approval, agents receive:
- Official SRAAA certificate (valid 2 years)
- Agent ID & registry number
- Access to the National Agent Registry portal
- Welcome toolkit (Code of Conduct, complaint process)
Post-certification obligations include annual compliance reviews and CPD requirements.
