Student Recruitment Agent Registration Framework

  1. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for registration with the Student Recruitment Advisors Agent Association (SRAAA), an agent or agency must meet the following criteria:

  • Legal Registration: Must be a registered business in Nigeria (CAC registration certificate required).
  • Track Record: Must have at least one year of experience in international student recruitment.
  • Institutional Affiliations: Should have partnerships with at least one foreign educational institution or a recognized placement agreement with an accredited international education placement partner or fill a reference form.
  • Staff Training: Key personnel must have undergone training in education consultancy, compliance, or student advisory—or demonstrate a willingness to undertake SRAAA-accredited training within 6 months of registration.
  • Good Standing: Must not have been blacklisted or penalized by any local or international institution, embassy, or educational organization.
  • Compliance Commitment: Must agree to adhere to the SRAAA Code of Conduct, Data Protection Policy, and quality assurance standards.

  1. AGENT APPLICATION STEPS

All interested agents must complete the following steps:

  1. Online Registration Form:
    • Visit the official SRAAA website and go to “Agent Registration”.
    • Complete the official online application form with accurate details.
    • Upload required documents including:
      • Business registration certificate (CAC)
      • Evidence of institutional partnerships or fill the reference form
      • Staff credentials or training certificates (If completed any)
  2. Application Fee:
    • Pay a non-refundable processing fee (Free till January 2026)
  3. Compliance Declaration:
    • Review and accept the SRAAA Code of Conduct and Data Protection Policy by checking the compliance box during application.
  4. Submit Application:
    • Submit the complete application for review by the Membership Committee.

  1. REVIEW AND APPROVAL PROCESS

Once the application is received:

  • Stage 1 – Initial Screening:
    • SRAAA admin team will verify document authenticity and completeness.
    • Incomplete applications will be flagged for correction within 14 days.
  • Stage 2 – Committee Evaluation:
    • The Membership and Compliance Committee will assess the applicants:
      • Business legitimacy
      • Student support processes
      • Track record in international placements
      • Understanding of ethical student recruitment
  • Stage 3 – Interview (if required):
    • The committee may invite the agent for a virtual or physical interview to clarify details or verify claims.
  • Stage 4 – Decision:
    • Applicants will be informed of the decision within 21 working days.
    • Approved agents will receive:
      • SRAAA Membership Certificate
      • Digital Badge
      • Access to SRAAA Portal and Network
