Online Training Course Modules Version 1.0 | 2025 Issued by the Student Recruitment Advisors Agents Association – SRAAA
Purpose of the CEAP-Nigeria Training Modules
The eight‐module Certified Education-Agent Programme (CEAP-Nigeria) is designed to ensure that every student-recruitment agent:
Grasps the history, structure and policy of Nigeria’s education system, plus the fundamentals of major destination markets.
Master’s the conversion of Nigerian credentials for global admissions.
Understands and upholds both ethics-first recruitment practices and comprehensive data-privacy obligations (NDPR);
Becomes proficient in student welfare protocols—pre-departure, in-country support and crisis response (SPSA/ISPO);
Learns to detect, report and remediate misconduct through real-world case studies; and
Crafts, implements, and continually improves an agency-wide ethics plan aligned with SRAAA and national standards.
What Agents Will Achieve
By the end of the programme, each certified agent will be able to:
Navigate the Nigerian System: Accurately advise on primary, secondary and tertiary pathways, reforms (6-3-3-4 vs 9-3-4), and NPE objectives.
Convert & Map Credentials: Translate WAEC/NECO grades into UCAS and WES documents, produce conversion tables and fully mapped transcripts.
Apply Global Admissions Rules Ethically: Match students to the right destination (UK, US, Canada, etc.), fully disclose all fees, and prioritize student-first outcomes over commissions.
Enforce Data Privacy: Implement NDPR/GDPR–compliant policies, create DPIAs and consent forms, and embed privacy controls into daily operations.
Uphold Professional Standards: Internalize the SRAAA Code of Conduct, recognize and flag breaches, and respond appropriately (warnings, training, sanctions).
Protect & Support Students Abroad: Deliver thorough pre-departure briefings, assemble UK-bound Info Packs, enact crisis-reporting protocols via ISPO, and verify ongoing compliance.
Analyze & Remediate Misconduct: Use redacted case files to diagnose root causes, design and monitor remediation plans, and evaluate performance against an ethics rubric.
Lead an Agency Ethics Plan: Draft a vision-driven ethics charter, establish conflict-of-interest and fee-disclosure policies, conduct regular audits, and leverage continuous feedback to maintain certification and stakeholder trust.
Agents who successfully complete all eight modules—and pass the proctored final exam with at least 75%—will earn their SRAAA Certified Education-Agent credential and be listed on Nigeria’s National Registry of Student Recruitment Agents.
